A DALMATIAN REFLECTION
The Dalmatian Pelican in the calm lakes of Bharatpur wading its way. It was alone there only accompanied by a few small Coots. Alone like a King. Every year they migrate in here and form their colonies but since 2019 there has been a sudden drop in the count of Dalmatian Pelicans. Natural components like big trees, course of the rivers, hills in cities help migratory birds to mark their route from one place to another. Now trees being cut, rivers turning their paths, hills being demolished for urbanization, it causes them to lose their way and get diverted.
Well, we human beings really don’t get the concept of co-existence. Do we?
