Amur Falcon
After a long time the Amur Falcon stopped by in India on their way to South Africa from Mongolia. It is heard that the last time they spend time in Indian in 2014. In the winter of 2020-21, a small group of Amur Falcons made their home for some weeks in Lonavala, Maharashtra. The green grassland and a small water stream became their home for sometime before they start their flight for the South Africa. In this picture a female Amur leaped up to catch its prey – a small insect. Freeze this moment while lying in the ground, camera handheld.
