Beauty, elegance and fatal in combination. This is “Large scaled Pitviper (Trimeresurus macrolepis)”. Photographed at Kodaikanal hills, nearly 9 years ago, by the month of June, 2012. Those were fascinating times, going to the field with my brother and finding amazing snakes. I have posted few frames of the same snake before, this is probably the last ones of the series. Hope you like these frames. 😊
Never handle or approach any wildlife, especially snakes, when you don’t have proper knowledge about them. It may end in fatality, on both sides. Recently you might have seen someone trying to catch a Russell’s Viper snake, thinking it as a Python snake. Russell’s Viper is a venomous one, where as, Python is a non venomous one. He got bitten by the snake and died. This is not a small issue. For any sake, do not try such things.
