Otters are expert hunters chasing preys in water bodies surfing the beds of rivers, lakes or seas. Their staple diet comprises of fish, but they also feed on frogs, crayfish and crabs. Interestingly, they are known for using stones to cut open fishes. The frame portrays the playful fishing activity of a group of otters on a rocky terrain inside the Manas River in Assam. While it shows the busy afternoon activities of the otters, the picture also gives some sense about their social interaction with each other.
