Amboli bush froglets inside eggs
Under torrential rains, covered by thick mosses, a cluster of Amboli bush froglets curled up inside their bubble-eggs, getting ready to take birth in our world. Eggs are maximum 4mm in size no bigger than a grain. The Amboli bush frog (Pseudophilautus amboli), is a rare shrub frog species endemic to the Western Ghats. They are considered endangered per IUCN Red List. This is one of the very few known frog species who does not metamorphose through the tadpole phase in their life cycle.
