Calotes With Feed
The Oriental Garden Lizard (Calotes versicolor) is an agamid lizard found widely distributed in Asia. The male gets a bright red throat in the breeding season leading to a common incorrect name of “Bloodsucker”. They eat mainly insects and small vertebrates, including rodents and other lizards. This individual is making it’s morning meal with a Gecko. The Gecko is to be swallowed whole though Calotes has teeth but those are not designed for tearing the prey.
