Baya weavers are communal birds. Male gather in a place in order to make nests. However they do not complete their nests completely. They leave the tunnels which is to be made by their potential mates. Baya weavers get their yellow crown in their heads during their mating season. There always stays a chance of hijacking of the nests. Here was one such moment when a male Baya weaver tried hijacking the nest when the female was building the tunnel.
