The crested serpent eagle (Spilornis cheela) is a medium-sized bird of prey that is found in forested habitats across tropical Asia.
we found this species in Sundarbans Biosphere Reserve West Bengal in winter season. Sunderban is the largest delta and mangrove forest in the world. we saw this raptor in low tides situation edge of the mangrove alley.
