In a deserted beach at Wandoor, South Andaman, this dead uprooted tree was lying all alone. His companions had parted. Only he was there sharing a memory of days gone by. The roots and branches though have withered, gives an idea of his previous strength. But he lay here under the sun, under cool sea breeze, reminding us of one thing only – that Death is inevitable.
