Oriental Dwarf Kingfisher is such a beautiful bird filled with colors. In nesting period, it regularly hunts many different species like crab, skinks, insects, lizards, etc. Unlike other Kingfishers, I haven’t seen this beauty hunting fish. This gives us a wonderful opportunity of photographing this beautiful bird with kill. I was blessed to make an image when this behavior was happening.
