Killer Stare!

Female Amur Falcon stares right into the camera. These magnificent raptors are small species of falcon known to migrate huge distances. They spend most of their mornings looking for prey and preening. Noon is often spent resting high up in the trees. And then they are back on the ground to feed themselves in the evening. Unlike kestrel species, Amur Falcons don’t hover in the sky looking for prey. They attack while on the ground and quickly gulp the prey which consists of bugs, locusts, and even small rodents.
