A beautiful frog that was described recently and is named after T. M. Manoharan, Principal Chief Conservator of Forests, Kerala.
These frogs resides in the reeds and shrubs close to streams. They are small, a little smaller than blue eyed bush frogs(Raorchestes luteolus). In fact they look very similar to them except the dark coloration of the skin, the spots and color of the eye. This individual had no spots which is one of the key identification feature of this species.
