Mates!

Mating Chafer beetles, photographed last year July. This was also from the outskirts of Pollachi. During macro photo walk, I saw these beetles mating and I tried to photograph them without disturbing them. They were at about 7 or 8 feet above and it was difficult to photograph them in eye to eye angle. I tried a few times and I didn’t get good frames, so I left the place. Then after about an hour, while returning through the same pathway, I again saw them at the same place and this time, I improvised by placing few rocks on the ground and stepping on it, thus arriving at eye to eye plane. The result is this image. ?
