Olive Ridley Sea Turtle – A would-be mom and a hatchling
With the decreasing trend in population, Olive Ridley Sea Turtle is a threatened species globally as per IUCN Red List and listed as endangered in the Pacific Coast of Mexico. Mass nesting of the vulnerable Olive Ridley sea turtles had happened for the 2nd time with mass hatching, last year in Rushikulya, Odisha. On that fine morning of April 2018, when I took this image, those tiny babies witnessed some motherly creatures coming out again from the sea.
