A perfectly curled up woodlouse that I found in my backyard, which unfortunately turned out to be dead, still manages to make a fortune for nature as it is an extremely rich source of calcium and is fed upon by some spiders and birds, hence, continuing to be a part of the ecological cycle. Be it in life or after death, nature’s assets play both ways. Now I can proudly say that my backyard has rich and healthy organic soil, thanks to the woodlice.
