The day after it snowed heavily in Landour, the parakeets appeared out of nowhere (along with other wildlife) and four of them sat on this deodar right outside my house feeding on the cones. This is the first time I have seem them do that. I have watched them eating oak acorns last year; again on snow laden trees. I was very lucky to have my camera close by.
