I had a dream to Photograph Scarlet Minivet in flight but that happened recently on a family trip to Sikkim.
We were staying in Pelling, West sikkim in a hotel and in front of it were beautiful huge trees with good background but not that good enough. We were in the 4th floor and I had a pretty good view. I just took my camera and sat at a place in the balcony waiting for some birds to photograph as I was hearing the sounds. After waiting for 2 hours, from nowhere this beauty comes right in front of me and I was thrilled….the moment I saw in my view finder it had gone..vanished, it was devastating, but I didn’t give up. I sat for about 3 hours and at the end I was able to get a decent shot of it and that too in flight. So, patience had payed off and this is my personal favourite.
