The image was taken from Indian part of Sundarbans. This huge Estuarine Crocodile was waiting in the mud, guarding the entrance of a small creek with its entire body. The purpose was to catch fish which would enter the creek with the incoming water flow of the high tide. The face of the Crocodile was almost covered with mud and some Mudskippers were playing over the face of the Crocodile. Perhaps the Mudskippers considered it is an integral part of their muddy habitat.
