The Mountains Calling
It took me multiple journeys to the mountains to realize how grossly I had misconstrued their presence.
To look austere, yet kindly beckon me to scale them,
To feel immense, yet become invisible to the eyes,
To be full of life, yet adjudged as soulless entities.
These mountains have been the constants anchored in the ever-evolving storm of life. Their kind austerity teaches me to remain committed to my roots, their invisible vastness reminds me to always be aware of the unknown and anticipate the unseen and their calloused yet soulful essence guides me through all walks of life to keep marching headless to society’s shackles.
And it’s okay if the mountains don’t call you, because “Mountains call not all, just a few who don’t listen to the crowd and believe in exploring the wild’.
So friends, Explore! and who knows, one day you might hear them call you too.
