The Secretive Lunch
If there is one thing that intrigues me the most about nature is how most animals and birds have this natural instinct to not give away their presence. Almost always, they maintain a superb camouflage, or perhaps it’s the other way around. The body patterns develop over years of evolution at a particular habitat and feeding habits. There was this moment when the Hill Myna sat amidst the black berry fruits, gorging on the chosen ripe ones and rejecting the others with just a peck, and how incredibly it blended with the surroundings. Nothing but the little movement to give away it’s presence.
