The Warriors Of Marsh Pride
The Marsh Pride has long been followed as part of the BBC’s Big Cat Diary. The core pride resides in the Musiara Marsh for most of the year but may move further north into the Mara North Conservancy when the Reserve’s long grass leads to a scarcity of prey.
This time I was lucky enough to capture the mesmerizing moments of the added newbies little cubs not more then a month or two so with their mother Lioness Rembo who was seen carrying her cubs with help from Dada – who assisted greatly by moving the babies across the wetland areas of the Musiara Marsh.
The long reeds of the marsh have provided a nice hiding place over the past week for the new cubs. After temporarily breaking away from the group to look after the newborns, Rembo is found enjoying her motherhood and very well taking care of her babies.
Undoubtedly, for any wildlife enthusiast and nature lovers, it’s truly a great sight to enjoy this pride having great family time at Masai Mara near Il Moran Governors Camp.
