Two days back, its the birth anniversary of Dr. Salim Ali, the Bird man of India., I just wanted to share one of my favorite frames of this stunning “Crested Serpent Eagle (Spilornis cheela)”. This beauty was sighted and photographed at Valparai, Tamil Nadu. Last year December, I went on a trip to Kothagiri and Valparai. On the last day at Valparai, we went for Lion tailed Macaques. They were not there in that specific spot and so we waited. I was looking around and I saw this beauty parched on a tree close by. I just made sure to take good frames of him before moving to next spot. ?
